Join us for a tour of the Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA) facilities and see firsthand how we sort recyclables at our advanced Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), how we compost green waste, and how we safely process hazardous waste. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the process (including explaining how the state-of-the-art sorting equipment works) and answer all your questions.
These general public tours are designed for individuals and groups smaller than 10. If you are interested in a business/organization, a larger group tour, or a school tour, please contact us directly to schedule a tour.
